Thanks for visiting this website! My name is Elyse, and I’ve been writing poems for about eight years now. It started as a way for me to explore my emotions, but over time, this creative outlet has become a practice I am incredibly proud of. 

Because I grew up moving around a lot, my writing often returns to the same question: where is home? I have learned that answers don’t simply appear. They are found through trial and error, reflection, and through putting pen to paper. At the moment, I’m learning to make time for writing alongside earning a degree, working, and everything else that matters to me. Through it all, I stay grounded by writing as often as I can.
