God, where would I even start 

If I were to create a Gallery of My Heart?

All I know is it would be a peaceful place, 

Unlike the Gallery of My Brain, 

Which we’ll have to leave for another day.

The Gallery of My Heart 

Would most likely include 

Bruises, scars, and permanent tattoos.

On the guided tour, you would see 

Walls covered in graffiti 

And, on top of the words, you’d find 

Pictures of places and people in frames. 

Some destroyed, all by design.
