Mother Nature
Trees don’t apologize for growing, yet you feel guilty for not staying stagnant.
The rain doesn’t apologize for falling, but you say sorry for tripping; for crying.
Wolves don’t apologize for howling, except you feel bad for marking your territory, for speaking up and setting boundaries.
Shining like the sun is not needed. Arrogance and unyielding oppression will not get you respected.
Channel the wind; become as unforgiving as him, though never as bitter.
Channel the ocean; become as formidable as her and never spread yourself thin or sell yourself short.
Take note of the peace and panic in nature around you to notice the corresponding forces prevailing inside you.
And harness them.
By doing this, you will master each season and every type of assertion.
Remember to never pounce unless provoked. Give the choice between calm waters and a storm.
