Our trope was either ‘forced proximity’ or ‘opposites attract’.

I wrote that line years ago about my first legitimate ex.

Now I realize it applies to every guy I have been involved with.

Because they are the only ones around and I accept it. I have some sort of Stockholm syndrome.

Or they conflict with everything I respect, and I end up with them because of some sort of savior complex. 

Can I please have a slow-burn romance?
